I might be being blind here and not spotting an obvious way of doing this, but: I have a curved turnout (1:10 700mm inner radius), with a length of curved track (700mm radius), and then on the other end another curved turnout the same. Is there any way to simply connect the two exits from the turnouts to create a smooth curve between the two? I am also failing to find an obvious way to move the peg from one end of a turnout/length of track to the other end. What am I missing? [Edit: Scratch that, found this bit, connection question still stands] Sorry if this is a really obvious question. Thanks J |

What am I missing?Click repeatedly the red number peg indicator at top left of the workpad. If you use F7 mouse action you can simply snap templates together without needing to be concerned with the peg: f7_snap_ani.gif More info: http://www.templot.com/martweb/f7_snap_demo.htm regards, Martin. |

Hi Julia. Are you trying to make a passing loop? If you join the main turnout exit roads mid way by extending the exit roads using the F4 short cut key between them you can simply go Template > V crossing settings and choose the parallel crossing option for both turnouts / points. If you have joined the Turnout roads with a 700 mm curve, then copy this to control and join it to the main exit road, extend it with the F4 key then curve it using the F6 key. To get a finer control hold down the shift key and hit the @ key before using F6. The two versions are in the attached file. Tony. |
