Hi Martin I may have found a tiny buglet! With the storage box open showing the templates as a list, to delete one I need to hit Alt-d, as expected (I have the underline option turned on). When I click show drawing, Alt-d continues to work, but it's also possible to delete just by hitting d on its own - that doesn't work in the list view. Not a problem, but just a little inconsistency I haven't checked yet to see if this applies to any of the other shortcut keys. Running on Win7 x64, by the way! Cheers |

Hi Paul, That's not really a bug, it's Windows working the way it is designed to work. If you display the list, the list is given keyboard focus so that you can use the up-down arrow keys on the keyboard. So pressing D key goes to the list, not the window (where it does nothing, because the list items are not set as editable). If you pull focus off the list, by pressing TAB for example, the window regains keyboard focus and the D will work as an accelerator key without needing ALT. You can see which item has focus by the dotted lines round it. When the drawing is displayed, the drawing can't receive keyboard focus, so the focus stays with the window, and pressing D works always without needing ALT. I could write some code to intercept key presses and change this behaviour -- but then no doubt someone will say that Templot is not following the Windows standard. regards, Martin. |

Hi Martin I see, I think! Just had another look and you're right. I could write some code to intercept key presses and change this behaviour -- but then no doubt someone will say that Templot is not following the Windows standard.I deliberately avoided any mention of Windows standard behaviour Cheers |
