Early volumes of "The Engineer" contain masses of track details, drawings and maps. The years 1862-1918 are now online in PDF format at: http://www.gracesguide.co.uk/The_Engineer_(Bound_Volumes) Many thanks to Howard Sprenger for the link. Just dipping in at random I immediately found some maps and drawings of the Bakerloo Line under Paddington: http://www.gracesguide.co.uk/images/f/f9/Er19150108.pdf Being PDF they can be zoomed in to reasonable detail. I fear a few hours are about to go missing. Martin. |

I didn't know these would be of interest, I would have mentioned them - I've looked at all of the Manchester Central articles, and are very interesting. Saved my a small fortune trying to get printed versions! |
