Not strictly relevant to this web site, but many members may be interested. Copied from: http://www.pecopublications.co.uk/peco-anounces-2016-new-items-programme.html identifier%283%29.jpg Peco announces 2016 new items programme Peco – which is celebrating its 70th anniversary this year – has revealed its plans for several new products in its 2016 Spring Report, which was published to coincide with the manufacturer’s presence at the recent Nürnberg Toy Fair in Germany. The manufacturer’s headline announcement is that it is developing brand new code 75 Streamline bullhead track for OO. The new flexible wooden-sleeper track (ref.SL-108F) will be representative of the type which was commonplace across the UK rail-network throughout the steam era, seeing use on both mainlines and secondary routes. Indeed, bullhead track can still be found today on some parts of the national network. Bullhead%20001%20CU.jpg The new bullhead track will be fully compatible with the firm’s existing code 75 flat-bottom Streamline range, but will feature proportionally greater spacing between the sleepers. Only plain track has been announced initially. However, if there is a positive reaction to its release then Peco may consider releasing pointwork in the future. Martin. |

I thought it was necessary to be 14 or older to post on RMWeb. They don't seem to be enforcing their policy | ||

given that Templot Club is a beacon of sanity, complete with mega track guru, why does the 00 debate generate such disagreement. same with 00-SF etc I still scratch my head over this, if you read the threads of various fora , it always seems to decend into irrational arguments, I mean like the one where one respondent insisted repeatedly that you need experienced PW engineers to design a range of model turnouts ( which given this is pre 60s bullhead, he'd be somewhat elderly !!!) why does it go off the rails ( pun intended ) dave |

I forgot those who see a conspiracy round every corner. Does it matter if an individual wants to work in a particular scale/gauge combination. NoDoes it matter if Peco produce 00 gauge track. YesDoes it matter if I like it. No The good thing about Templot club is its users are understanding and polite |
