Hmm. Interesting. For the last few weeks I have been fending off dozens of scam/phishing emails every day. But this morning I was pleasantly surprised to find that there had been none overnight. And so far today none. Then I noticed this: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-45257081 May be a coincidence, or maybe not? I know I could use spam filtering, but I have always found the filters unreliable, and likely to find too many false positives. I prefer to do my own filtering, but it can get tedious. Martin. |

Don't seem to get scam emails these days. I have AVG, and maybe that's blocking them. Nuisance telephone calls are a different matter. Loads of "This is Windows support. Your computer is infected. Turn on your computer and do what we tell you. Now!!!". I usually just put the phone down; sometimes if I'm in the mood I play along to see much of their time I can waste. The other frequent one is free boiler replacement. |
