You can download the T3 files by going to: http://sourceforge.net/projects/opentemplot/ Having got it, save it in an empty folder somewhere and extract all the contents. Then in Lazarus open the file: templotmec.lpi Do Run > Build and then if you get a green in the Messages, do Run > Run without Debugging. For more about getting started with Lazarus, see: topic 3283 You should then see: 2_111228_410000000.png The extra window is the console host window. On most systems it should automatically minimize to the task bar, but if it doesn't you can minimize it manually. But don't close it, because that will close T3 (instantly, without the usual confirmation about saving your work). Even if you leave it there, it will be hidden behind the trackpad while you are using T3. It's a temporary fix to get round the issue of excessive CPU usage when T3 is running stand-alone. When we have found the proper fix for that, it will no longer be needed. This is NOT the first release of Templot3, you are not intended actually to use it. Lots of stuff isn't yet working. It is just my working files as of today. You can see what changes have been made in them by selecting one in the list on SourceForge and clicking the History tab. Then click the Compare button. And having seen the changes, how about pasting some of your own here? I will merge them in and upload them next time. Nor is it a full release, so the NLS map screenshot helper exe is not included. An important change is that I have changed the native file extensions from .otbox, .otbgs, .otcal to .box3, .bgs3, .cal3 . If you have created any earlier data files, you will need to rename them as above in order to use them. cheers, Martin. |

Hi Martin, Not got much time today but ( after your prompt ) downloaded the files from SourceForge. Created a folder for them and extracted all the files. Upon opening file I get this :- 2001_131731_190000000.jpg and then :- 2001_131733_290000000.jpg Help ? I have Lazarus V1.6.4 if that matters. Rob |

p.s. after upgrading you will need to reinstall HtmlViewer. Package > Online Package Manager Select HtmlViewer on the list, then Install > from Repository. Just follow the defaults. cheers, Martin. |

Martin Wynne wrote: p.s. after upgrading you will need to reinstall HtmlViewer. Hi Martin, Thanks for the reminder about that. I am now on the same version as you after a re-install of Lazarus. Seems odd that a version downloaded a few months back now is so out of date. Program builds and runs just fine. The only thing I did notice was some over-written text in the Storage Box :- 2001_131930_120000000.jpg Thanks for your efforts with Templot3. Rob |

Rob Manchester wrote:Program builds and runs just fine. The only thing I did notice was some over-written text in the Storage BoxThanks Rob, Yes, there are quite a few cosmetic glitches like that scattered through the program. They are not serious, it's just a matter of going through and finding them. p.s. I inadvertently uploaded 2 files to SourceForge which should not be there and are not part of the program: unit2.lfm unit2.pas They won't do any harm but it would make sense to delete them from your project folder. I have removed them from SourceForge. cheers, Martin. |
