I would like to show my first efforts with Templot (drawing over a scanned track plan) but seem to have problems combining the background scan and templates into one file to attach to an email. Can someone point me in the right direction? Many thanks Martyn Harrison |

Can someone point me in the right direction?Hi Martyn, Arrange your screen in Templot to show what you want, and then press the PRINT SCREEN key on the keyboard (usually next to F12). This doesn't actually print the screen, it simply copies it onto the Windows clipboard. Now start your image editing program such as PaintShopPro, or Windows Paint. Click the Edit > Paste menu item. The screen view from Templot will appear as an image. Now you can save your work as a single JPG or PNG image file. Use JPG format if the background scan covers a significant part of the screen area. If it's only a small part of the screen, you will get a better quality image by saving in PNG format. regards, Martin. |
