Two pages from the Gregg catalogue of American portable narrow-gauge track. Scanned for us by Mick Nicholson. Lots of detail for modellers of industrial track. Track gauges from 20" to standard-gauge. gregg_portable_track.png gregg_portable_switches.png The original high-resolution scans are available (right-click to save): pre_gallery/gregg_portable_track_hires.jpg pre_gallery/gregg_portable_switches_hires.jpg Martin. |

Very Interesting Martin. I still have a copy of Tommy Ward's Industrial catalogue - quite fascinating stuff. I remember sometime last year you put up some On30 trackwork. I did have a quick look round but could not find it. Could you pinpoint this please? On30 fascinates me. It is so far from the disciplines of 1936 GWR in 7mm that I am sure I will have a go one day. I may start planning a layout. Regards Brian Lewis |

Brian Lewis wrote: Very Interesting Martin. I still have a copy of Tommy Ward's Industrial catalogue - quite fascinating stuff.Hi Brian, I also have a copy, but it's out on loan at present. However, John Brighton has scanned his copy and put it online at: TWW front cover TWW contents (The contents link is an image map -- the listed pages can be clicked to go to the relevant page, although that's not immediately obvious.) I remember sometime last year you put up some On30 trackwork. I did have a quick look round but could not find it. Could you pinpoint this please? It's in the "Samples and examples" section (maybe you were searching using letter O instead of 0 zero?): 0n30 example file There is more discussion about 0n30 (0n16.5) in this topic: narrow gauge templates in 7mm and a video about customizing narrow-gauge templates in this topic: customizing n.g. templates See also: 7mm Narrow Gauge Association web site regards, Martin. |
