I model the Brighton - in the 1890s, and therefore need to set up the default straight track lengths of 30' of 12 sleepers per length, and put in the pairs of sleeper spacings either side of the fishplates of 1'-1.5/8". So far I have not found out how to do this. Can you save me a bit of hunting through the voluminous website please, and tell me how to do this? Mike W |

Hi Mike, A detailed guide to setting up custom plain track spacings is in this document compiled by Stuart Hince: http://www.templot.com/martweb/pdf_files/gwr_track_panels.pdf The numbers given are actually for the GWR, but the method is applicable for all companies. There is additional information by following the help notes in the program, also some notes on CWR (long-welded rail) and USA-style staggered rail joints: custom_plain_track.png regards, Martin. |
