Curviform Diamond Junction x 3 How

Hi Everyone,

I am currently 98% through the track work of my Tynemouth Station and I have finally ran into something which I cannot get the hang of. I have read lot of the forum's talking on this subject but I still don't get it.
I can create diamond crossings, regular and curviform, but I cannot get my curviform diamonds to match my map. I have tried irregular curviform, but it just did not look right to me.
Below is how far I have got, with all the track work in position except for this junction. I am am a long way off from being any kind of expert with Templot, but as the over all station goes I pretty much have what I want. Even if it is not constructed the best way using Templot.
It will now allow me to get a reasonably accurate map at full size 2.06mm/ft map to place on my baseboards.
I have also included a zoom in photo of the junction that is giving me grief.
I can over lay 4 separate curves accurately, shame you can not generate diamonds from that, or can you?

Can anybody offer advise on how to get this junction completed.

Your assist greatly appreciated.

Regards
Mike

Hi Mike,

Sure. One curve in the control template. One as a background template. Click the background template and then:

I know you asked me not to reply, so this is just a quick 5-minute answer. :)

cheers,

Hi Everyone,

I may of just got it!

But how do I tidy up the junction to remove the overlaps and to add those pieces that are missing.

I will post in a short while

Hi Martin,

My most recent attempt in isolation. Everything is great.
Different in the main map. I need to work out why it won't work. Will post my solution later.
Thanks for the tip, worked a treat.

Hi Everyone,

Finally got the junction in place and good enough for me to have printed. 2 small errors, but nothing stopping me proceeding further.
The solution for me get the junction into the main map was this.
1, created a new file of Tynemouth Station and built the junction only as everything worked fine like that.
2. Opened the most up-to-date file of the track work for Tynemouth Station and deleted everything in the junction and additional entry/exit track.
3. Loaded the junction templates from the Junction in Isolation file.

Worked and I am happy with the result.
Thanks for your help Martin, much appreciated.
Onto the platforms and the rolling Dummyvtests.

Regards
Mike
