Hello,
Will chairs printed in version 245a be compatible with track bases printed in version 244c?
I ask because I believe compatibility between some versions was mentioned as a problem due to changes in Templot.

Hi Trevor,

Back in May I warned that there would be a change coming to the plug size for some of the crossing chairs:

https://85a.uk/templot/club/index.php?posts/11243

Since then I and others have got too much involved in getting a new open-source version, Templot5, developed.

Consequently the changes have been deferred until after we have got Templot5 released. This means there is no change in the chairs between 244 and 245. Nor will there be in the first release of Templot5, which will be version 555a.

But I do want to get these changes done in the coming months, because they are a precursor to the K-crossing chairs, and also needed for the slab & bracket variants. I will post good advance notice of any changes.

I have edited the above link accordingly.

cheers,

Martin.
