The Plug Track functions are experimental and still being developed. Some of the earlier pages of this topic are now out-of-date.
For an updated overview of this project see this topic. For some practical modelling aspects of using Plug Track see Building 3D Track.
The assumption is that you have your own machines on which to experiment, or helpful friends with machines. Please do not send Templot files to commercial laser cutting or 3D printing firms while this project is still experimental, because the results are unpredictable and possibly wasteful.

Are you outside the UK, in a country where the decimal separator is a comma? Your computer is expecting a comma and unable to process the dot as part of a number. Try changing it to a comma.
If that doesn't work, in this case the part thickness is not critical -- I suggest changing to a whole number -- 9mm thick and 6mm hole.
Otherwise you will need to change the country setting on your computer to UK or USA. This is one more thing on my to-do list for the plug track -- going through all the new dialogs and setting the defaults from code instead of from text in the lfm file.
That is almost certainly the reason. I should have thought of that . just like the wiki index should be A to Å ... which is really weird as Å can also be written as 'Aa' which when being sorted alphabetically in Danish comes at the END of the list !
I tried changing '.' to ',' but that did not help. This maybe because there was still a '.' for the FB rail foot width that I could not change because I was using bullhead as rail type. I solved the issue by altering my OS's regional setting til Englisk (UK) in the control panel. This solved the problem. But it is not the right way of doing it
No, it isn't. The proper way is for those boxes to be populated to the default values in the form OnCreate event. Using the FloatToStr function, which will automatically use the correct decimal separator for the location.
It's all par for the course with an experiment. There's no point spending time getting everything to its finished state right from the start, until you know if it is actually going to work. The same applies all through the plug track code, but it's been a battle of wits getting the point across.
