Hello,
I thought I would give the latest Templot 2/Templot 5 release a go on my Windows 10 pc that is not online. I have been using version 244c.
I downloaded the installation file to my linux machine then copied it onto a usb stick.I then installed the file on to the Win 10 machine. It installed ok and I was able to open Templot2. Unfortunately I could not open Templot 5. I am assuming it needs my Win10 machine online to work. I have managed to have Templot 2 operating fine for some time and have avoided Microsoft rendering the machine obsolete and or stop programs working needed for Templot.I went this route because 3D viewer and 3D Builder stopped working via Wine on my Linux machines. This made the full plug track operations untenable on a Linux machine. Is it possible to get Templot 5 to operate without going online? If I put the Windows machine online to get Templot 5 working I suspect Microsoft will hack my machine and stop the required programs from operating.
Thank you
Trevor:)

Hello Steve,
The system spec:32bit operating system X64 based processor.
I clicked on Templote 5 in the Templot folder and I got:#
"This app can't run on your PC"
Does Templot 5 need a 64 bit OS?
Trevor. :)

Hi Trevor,
Here is a zipped version of a "development" version of 32-bit Templot. Please complain to me if it does not work rather than Martin.
Sorry it is too large to upload here.
I will have to think of some other way to get it to you.

Steve

Hi Steve,
Could you possibly post it as a series of part zipped programs, that Trevor would have to stich back together before fully unzipping?
That was for a long time a standard feature in zipping software. I distantly remember only a few years ago have to to exactly this for any music manipulation software I used to buy. (20 Gb software packages download in as many as 100 parts) All of which then post processed and magically made up a single zipped file, which you then unzipped in the normal manor. Gosh that brings back a few memories.
Cheers
Phil,

Hi Steve,
Email providers often have cloud storage that can be used to send large files. My Gmail account puts large ones on that if I try to send one that is over the limit for a simple attachment. The recipient then downloads it from the cloud.

Hello,
I may have resolved my problem.I have managed to install a 64bit version of Windows 10 on one of my linux machines in Virtualbox.
I have managed to install Templot and both versions appear to be functioning OK.I am sorry to have caused you unnecessary work trying to solve an issue that was of my own making.
Thank you.
Trevor.
