@Godders @Paul Boyd
Hi Godders, Paul,
I suspect that text has been added to the screenshot in a graphics editor, as Paul says.
But it's easy to add text to the trackpad, either as a
label in the background shapes, or via the
sketchboard.
In the latter case it can be complex formatted text, tables, etc., created in the sketchboard editor, or loaded into it from Word or other word processors (RTF files):
On the sketchboard it can be re-sized, rotated, etc:
Note that sketchboard items appear on the background behind the track templates.
Its presence will slow down the zooming and screen response quite significantly, so it is best to switch it off while doing track design, and only put it on when needed to make screenshots, etc. It is switched on and off via the tickbox top-left on the sketchboard.
All other sketchboard items can be similarly shown on the trackpad.
They can also be included on the printed templates, PDF, etc.
In the next program update there will also be the option to add
sticker symbols to the templates (12 characters max):
cheers,
Martin.
