A useful, but probably little-used, function is edge-panning:
With edge-panning switched on, bumping the mouse against the edge of the trackpad causes the trackpad view to pan in that direction.
This is handy when looking around on a large track plan, or when zoomed in.
While it is switched on, you can temporarily toggle it off and on by dabbing the SCROLL LOCK key. Dab again to toggle it back on.
To avoid problems in accessing the top menu bar, edge-panning on the top edge works only at the right-hand part of the top edge.
That can still leave the difficulty of accessing the Windows Minimize function. But there is a Templot keyboard shortcut for that -- press the PAUSE|BREAK key.
