    The assumption is that you have your own machines on which to experiment, or helpful friends with machines. Please do not send Templot files to commercial laser cutting or 3D printing firms while this project is still experimental, because the results are unpredictable and possibly wasteful.

Trouble loading tiled maps from Manchester

Hi

I'm trying to load either of the following URLs as tiled maps from the NS OS 25-inch Country Series, and Templot is failing to load them. I've set the county as Lancashire:

It's Oxford Road I'm really after, I just wondered if Central would work as well. Chester Northgate and Mobberley have worked previously (obv. they are over the border in Cheshire!)

Any idea?

Hi Richard,

Keeping up with the NLS tile server URLs is a constant battle of wits. They keep changing them, and are in the process of moving everything to Amazon servers.

Sorry I missed that one.

I will post a program update for you in an hour or so.

Hi Richard,

229d is now on the server with a fix for the Manchester map. It's not an automatic update because the only changes are this map fix and the latest stuff for 3D exports. Most users won't have any need or reason to update right now:

The Manchester map should work, but if not let me know and I may be able to suggest a workaround.
