An interesting morning wandering through the results in there, but it has left me wondering if I need them. Probably straying off topic for this bit of the forum. The intention is (in a fit of originality) to develop a GWR based layout, so it needs to reflect their practises. The original plan shows them at one end of two of the platforms (single track, with a passing loop at the station, but also a branch, giving three platform faces). With three platform faces, I would have thought it reasonable to assume that all three routes were passenger routes (as well as goods), so do they need them? I agree the zoom options in Templot are extensive and I guess having been developed over the years cover most if not all the situations you are ever likely to encounter. I suppose really it's what you get use to, and having worked with CAD for many years I find zooming at mouse cursor almost second nature. To answer your question – yes the mouse cursor also moves to the screen centre so that the part of the drawing you are working on moves to screen centre which saves you grabbing the drawing with a left click and manually moving it to centre. Start with two lengths of plain track crossing over each other. They can be both straight, or both curved, or one curved and one straight length. I gather that there have been some problems with some of the suppliers to Exactoscale as regards accuracy of products supplied. Hi Ray, When you use the make transition function between templates which are themselves transition templates, the fixing peg is used as a marker to tell Templot which of the two radii within them to use in the calculations. Nearly always this means temporarily swapping the peg to the opposite end from the end where you have it, and swapping it back afterwards. I need to develop a better method for this. After several minutes of this you will be pleading for a silent video. http://www.templot.com/martweb/videos/yak.mid What IS needed is a page of notes and annotated images which you can follow or print out. There is always far more to be said about each step than anyone could follow or take in if it was presented as spoken word. I have developed a synchronised video format which includes such notes, and I will be using it to present properly edited videos in due course. The present videos are scruffy stop-gaps to get the information available with the minimum impact on my time -- I MUST find more coding time, the current 074b release version and tutorials are SIX years old! The problems we encountered with Green Street may well not be encountered by everyone. The reason for the apparent movement was certainly difficult to pin point.
