... : 1958 Single Slip posted: 14 May 2012 17:20 from: Les Waters Hello Carefully following the Single Slip video I have created something resembling a single slip but I substituted a B8 switch as a starting point. What appears to have happened is the slip road has overlaid across the original diamond checkrails. Consequently, I am thinking I have missed something out or have I done something completely wrong. This could be because I really want a double slip to 1:8 and thought I could cobble something up from a print out of a single slip. You can tell this from the extended timbering on both sides. To be honest I have not got a clue of how to go about a double slip. Any advice would be gratefully received. ... topic: 1970 Storage box- help please posted: 29 May 2012 17:17 from: Bob Juleff Could someone please tell me how to move a stored template into a different storage box. This morning I created a number of satisfactory templates and stored them. I saved all before quitting for lunch. After lunch, despite no alcohol being taken, I made a mistake. I reopened my previous session, made some alterations to some of the templates and printed some. I lost one of these templates when I think I deleted to control a subsequent template without store and background to the previous one. Anyway it is nowhere to be seen in the box. I have saved this afternoons work before quitting. My question is, whilst I can open this morning's session and its storage box, can I move one of the templates (the one I later lost) from in there to this afternoons session's storage box, thus recovering my lost template? I am using v.0.91c with Windows 7. Thanks in anticipation. posted: 29 May 2012 17 ...

However, I can't remove the zoom buttons because they are still needed in Windows7, and on Wine/CrossOver. There are now some situations where the new behaviour is not so helpful, and I will need to make some changes -- for example: 1. when the print pages preview or the pdf pages preview is showing for the output, accidentally rolling the mouse wheel over the preview reverts to the trackpad view and loses the pages preview, with no way back. This is a great nuisance for Windows10 users, and I will get a fix done soon. 2. when the stay-visible help notes are showing, there is no way for Windows10 users to scroll them. ... turnout is simply a straight turnout bent into a curve along the main road. This means that all the sections which are straight in a straight turnout are curved to the main road radius in a curved turnout. So beyond the set, the "straight" section* is curved at the outer radius. Then where the rails diverge the inner turnout radius begins. The stock gauge remains the same and in the same position at the end of the planing, which is the same planing length. All the marks are on the printed templates. In fact in Templot even a straight turnout is actually curved. It just happens that the outer radius is so large (over 50 miles) that you can't see it. I built a Test Track to "prove" the approach and in our S4 AG we are proposing to build a bigger (continuous run) one using similar concepts. The job starts with developing the Template (my shorthand for a template developed in Templot!) two copies of which are then printed- one to make a "rail forming and sub assembly pre-fabrication jig" and the second to stick to the base board so that the track can be built directly upon it. It is important that the prefabrication jig is perfectly level so I make mine by spray-mounting the Template to a piece of 10mm thick laminate flooring which is flat, hard and rigid.
