I have been trying out various aspects of Templot and have come up with a few what I hope are fairly simple questions. This is one of them. :D
During my wanderings I must have sent something to the storage box.
Now when I start up I get the message “Do you want to restore the storage box contents and background drawing from your previous Templot session?”
When I go to the storage box it informs me “box empty”. How do I delete a template that isn't there according to the storage box?

Regards

Hi Ken,

Templot keeps a backup of your work independently of your own files. If you answer "yes" to that question, the empty storage box will be reloaded with the templates that were in it when you quit the previous Templot session.

All templates showing on the pad background are stored in the storage box:

Martin,
Thanks again again,
Yes I have already studied the two Templot Companion sections mentioned above but to be honest I am having difficulties with the one on the Storage Box. No doubt I will twig eventually and all will be revealed.
What I am trying to do at the moment is return Templot to the condition it was in when I first loaded it with the B6 Turnout in its original state and nothing else active or whatever.
I simply wish to start right at the beginning to re-inforce what I think I have learned.
I have tried everything I can think of and, short of re-installing Templot 0.74b, have run out of ideas. Is there a simpler way?

Regards

Hi Ken,

If you answer "no thanks" when asked if you want to restore the storage box contents, Templot will start up in the default state -- with an empty storage box and the current/control template containing a left-hand B6 turnout in T-55 gauge curved onto 10 chains radius.

regards,

Martin.
