I've been meaning to mention this Martin, but never got round to it.  When you go into Print/Printer setup and select either Portrait or Landscape, they are the reverse of the normal convention in the Print Map.  Selecting Landscape prints out Portrait and vice versa.

Not the end of the world.  Couldn't find anything in search, so maybe it's not been raised before.

Oh, it has, many times, sometimes getting quite heated!  Personally, I think in the Templot context that the terms Landscape and Portrait are misleading because of people's expectations of what that means, but Martin can't change the printer drivers!  It has more meaning if you consider banner printing...

From the Help page:
The end-run option is the normal setting and corresponds to "landscape" (wide) page outlines on the workpad (and "portrait" setting for text on the printer). This setting is recommended and will be found to be the most convenient in the majority of cases. The side-run option corresponds to "portrait" (tall) page outlines on the workpad (and "landscape" setting for text on the printer). Important: For banner printing on roll or z-fold paper, the end-run option is necessary. Note that in all cases the top of the printed page corresponds to the left edge of the page outline shown on the workpad.
Hope that helps!

Thanks Paul, I did search and was surprised nothing had come up.

It was one of those things I noticed ages ago and like I said, I'm pretty laid back about it and it's not the end of the world once you know about it.
