Hi Everyone. I’m having a spot of trouble with a Single Slip Template, the Vee Wing rails (the reach) of the diamond centre crossings are fouling the inner slip rail, as can be seen in the attached image and in the attached BOX file. I need to maintain the angle of the crossing as this matches up to my Bitmap Background track plan, and do not wish to stray away from this. I have tried changing the numbers in the menu’s: REAL Customize V-crossing Wing rail front … Wing and Check rails … With no change in the length of the wing rail reach on that side. Can anyone suggest what I am doing wrong or perhaps not do at all. Very best regards. Brian Nicholls. |

There is a long discussion about it and some suggestions in this topic: topic 324 By the way, those are not V-crossing wing rails, they are K-crossing check rails. To change the length of them, go to real > K-crossing options > K-crossing check rails... menu item. Be sure to read the notes for each line by clicking the ?help F2 flag. regards, Martin. |

p.s. sorry Brian, I should have looked at your box file, not the pdf. The reason you are having trouble in P4 is that you have used 1:32 slip switches with a 1:6.5 diamond. The 1:32 slip switches are intended for 1:7 diamonds and flatter. If you change to the 1:24 slip switches, the slip road will very likely clear the K-crossing check rails. regards, Martin. |
