Hello

I remember, I think, that one of the things that the sketchboard would be good for is generating a signal diagram. Is there a way of doing this from Templot pre the sketchboard? I've got a virutal printer that prints-to-png, if that's anyhelp.

I've tried using SigScribe (just for the drawing), but although better than my attempts, it still looks "not very good".

TIA

Richard.

Hi Richard,

It will be difficult to add the signals in Templot as it stands, there is only so much you can do with background shapes and shoved timbers. :)

If you can create the signals as small bitmap graphics you could possibly add them as picture shapes.

But if you have a virtual printer, you can create an image or metafile which you can open in any drawing package, and then add the signalling detail there. One of the best virtual printers is part of Snagit:

http://www.techsmith.com/screen-capture.asp

which can save in EMF metafile format for good quality vector graphics.

There is also the DXF option which would allow you to create a signalling diagram in CAD.

Hello

Thanks - that was the topic I was after. Sorry I should have titled the topic "Basis for a Signalling diagram from Templot".

Regards.
