I found the tutorial that teaches mouse actions. It must be for the older version of Templot. How to initialize the workpad (old name was drawing pad)? F12 did nothing. The alternative command, track>B-6 turnout reset, does not exist on the toolbar. What do I do instead? |

How to initialize the workpad (old name was drawing pad)?Hi Nicholas, template > REA B-6 LH turnout reset menu item in 091c. This is the reason I suggested in my order confirmation letter that you stay with version 074b while you are learning the basics of Templot. That is the version which most of the Templot Companion pages were written for. I'm very sorry about this confusing situation, but it is simply not possible to keep rewriting those pages as I develop and upgrade the program. To revert to using 074b, simply download and install it again. If you have just restarted Templot, that menu item doesn't do anything -- it is included in the instructions so that everyone is starting from the same place. regards, Martin. |

I am quickly moving through all of the function keys to learn them and discovering the differences between the old and new versions of Templot. I found that the toolbar menus are adequate for showing the function key combinations when I come across a difference. It is no big deal. The way I initialized Templot was to change to my gauge and start a new session. The commands there let me start fresh or restore a saved session. So I have solved the problem. |
