I am making my way through the tutorials but for some of them I cannot figure out what the initial conditions are. E.g. "Return Loop" which shows one template sloping to the right and just the outline of a track. The other object looks like the center lines of two parallel tracks. What are the informational menus for these two objects so I can follow the tutorial? |

This shows the tracks as rail gauge lines and centre-lines only. Do this before you create the templates, or click generator > rebuild all background afterwards. Sorry the video didn't explain this, it all works exactly the same if you don't make that change. I did it simply to reduce the download file size of the video. The tracks appear as solid lines because the pad is zoomed out a long way. The blue tracks are two background templates, forming double track. The video creates a return loop linking them together. The black/white track with the red fixing peg is the control template. It can be anywhere to start. regards, Martin. |
