Hello

The title says it really - I am almost at the last stage of creating the templates for a proposed new club layout, and have to create two double junctions and they are in transition curves. See the screenshots below (I hope!)

and a close up of the one I've attempted to do

This one is actually (I think) outside the transition curve. I have tried quite a number of times to get this working but am having serious problems getting the angle of the crossing anywhere near the right one! I must be doing something silly - can anyone help. Another problem coming up :))

Templot dosen't do what you want at present.

The easiest way is to simply overlay the two curves and then hand sketch the crossings on the printed template.

There is a topic on here that takes you through the steps of making what you want.

Try here: topic 1113

Alan

Thanks for pointing me in that direction - I've downloaded the pdf to look at more closely when I have more time. I was thinking that perhaps I would have to put some straight track in between two transition curves to get what I wanted, but will investigate this first

regards

Paul

There might be an issue with the method in my PDF, it's only around the K-crossing check rails, but I've not had a chance to review it - it's on my long list of things to do. The rest of it should be fine, and the K-crossing check rails would be gauged off the running lines during construction anyhow.

Hi Paul

I've attached a box file of part of my layout that's got two transition diamonds on it. It's P87 but you'll get an idea of how I did it by studying the partial templates I used. When you open the file just press the <end> key to get the labels to disappear so you can see it all.

Regards

Alan McMillan
