The next Pug version of Templot will include several new export and display options for Templot track plans -- PDF files, image files, metafiles, sketchboard drawings, and a new simplified output option called diagram mode.

Accordingly it makes sense to rethink the licence terms for the use of Templot.

Providing it relates to your own personal hobby use of Templot and it is not done by way of trade or otherwise for financial gain, all restrictions on the publication, distribution, sharing and copying of Templot-derived material are withdrawn with immediate effect. That means Templot vector files (PDF, DXF, EMF) may be uploaded to your web site, attached to messages on web forums, given to friends on CD or USB stick, sent by email, etc. Templot raster images (PNG, etc.) may be freely published on web sites, in magazine articles, exhibition guides, etc. :)

However, I would be grateful if a credit to Templot is always given and if possible a link to templot.com  Thanks.

For all commercial use of Templot the present arrangements remain unchanged.

regards,

Martin.

Martin

Many thanks for this.  By the way the acknowledgement of using Templot has always been mandatory, to me, when I've written anything about a layout.

regards
