I thought I read something about changing certain aspects of a turnout (type of switch and or type of V) so that the length of the curved turnout could be reduced without affecting the radii of both routes too much. Tried a search but could only find one reference.

Thanks in advance John

Hi John

Changing the type of crossing may slightly change the length and using GW old style curved switches certainly save a few mm.

Cheers Phil
