Hi,

Has any Mac users of templot used the software Virtualbox as the way to load xp?

I am using it at present but it will not accept the current pug and does not respond to all the f keys.

regards

Just to ask the obvious question  - do you have a printer installed?

That caught me out when loading 0.91 through WINE on Ubuntu.

Sorry, can't help regarding the F keys.

Thanks I had not installed a printer. Now 0.91 loaded and working but still have problems with some of the F keys, F7, and F8.

Have you tried Fn + F8, or right Ctrl + F8 - suggested in several places if you do a Google search on 'Virtualbox function key'.

Thanks again, Fn+F8 works a treat.

I am running Templot 0.91c on Win XP sp3 using Virtualbox 4.1.2 with a Mac OSx 10.7.2 host and function keys all seem to be doing their expected job. This has worked properly straight from the basic install with no modifications or tweaks of any kind.

I have 0.91c, xp sp3, Osx 10.7.2 but a later version of Virtualbox, 4.1.4 so this may be the cause of the problem.

I have finally got Templot working well. With Virtualbox I found the dragging a component the movement did not keep up with the mouse. I am now testing VMware Fusion 4 and I am finding that it operates as though I am usin a PC.

A change in the Mac keyboard preferences has solved the F key problem so all is now well.
