Hi Len

If you can't find anyone else try Stylize Digital Artwork Ltd, 3 Hollands Road, Suffolk, CB9 8PU.  Tel 01440 712713, email studio@stylize.co.uk.

They did my 13ft x 2' 6'' plan from my PDF on 80 gm paper for £16 for the first copy and £13 for each subsequent. Delivery was quite expensive so it would be best to collect but I was very happy with their results, including the accuracy of the scaling.

The only thing I would have done differently is to have had one printed on thicker paper for regular use and the other two on 80 gm for sticking down duties.

I did manage to get a quote for £90 for one sheet, so shop around.

Regards

John

Hi John,

Many thanks for the link -- full details and prices of PDF printing are here:

Note that in TDV Templot can create large format PDF files directly, there is no need for external PDF generator programs or messing about with custom printing sizes.

regards,

Martin.

Hi Len

If you have access to an ordinary printer that takes A4 paper you can get very good results by printing the pages and pasting them together on your baseboard.

For my own project I printed just over 50 pages on photocopy card (160 gsm) and then trimmed and pasted to my baseboards.  The card is easier to work with than ordinary paper and does not wrinkle when pasted with PVA glue.  If a page goes wrong, you can simply print another.

Regards.

Bill Campbell.

Wally of this parish has just had his layout of Killybegs printed at a local (Plymouth) print shop. The layout is 20 odd foot long done on 2 sheets for about £13, if I remember correctly.

Cheers Phil
