I have read the very helpful Templot guides from Tony and Allan and also looked in the Companion and even tried to search, but could not find the answer to the following:
Is it possible to create a line which is offset from the centre line of the track by a certain (user specified) amount e.g. to draw a platform edge line at the correct distance from the track and following the curve of the track?
Looking forward to Xmas and (hopefully) the release of Templot 2.

Hi Art,

Platforms are a new feature in TDV and Templot2. You can adjust the dimensions and spacing from the track as required:

I have turned you purple so that you can get TDV now if you wish. The TDV download and instructions are here:

In earlier versions of Templot you can create such adjacent lines using the trackbed edges option in the generator. This has been re-worked in TDV to create the new platforms feature, see the real > platforms... menu item, and the geometry > trackbed edge menu items.
