I have been trying to upload a tutorial (2.6 Mb) and I just get a rotating arrow next to <Connecting> , but it never completes the upload. I have tried both docx (not sure if that is an acceptable format) and .pdf i do not think the problem is my upload speed, as i can email the document to myself and that went out and came back quickly and without problems. Has anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions? Thanks, Arthur |

You can see the list of acceptable files alongside the attachment box below the cream message editor panel. If you are trying to upload to the Image Gallery using the buttons above the editor panel, only PNG, GIF, JPG image files are acceptable. regards, Martin. |

Hi Martin, it was an attachment to a message. I hope that you do not mind, but in order to work through your tutorial I updated my copy (replacing pad by workpad, track by template, etc., to make it easier for me to follow the tutorial), and I wondered if this would be useful to others. I have highlighted all the changes in yellow, so that anyone can see what changes I have made (and spot any mistakes), but I could not get it to upload. I tried sending as a .pdf, but that did not work. I just get the rotating arrow next to but it never completes the upload. Regards,Arthur |

Provided it is smaller than that a .pdf file should upload. The server may have been very busy, perhaps you could try again now. Note that a file of that size may take several minutes to upload. If still no joy please send it to me as an email attachment to martin@templot.com and I will upload it for you. regards, Martin. |

I can see that you have gone to a great deal of trouble to produce this, for which many thanks. However, I'm not sure it is going to be helpful to new users of Templot2, so I shall not post it here now, or at least not in its present form. The changes you have made would have been helpful 8 years ago for users of 078e, but it needs something more for Templot2 otherwise I can see it sowing more confusion than it solves. For your own use you can of course modify the Templot web pages any way you wish, but if you intend to post them for others it would be a good idea to contact me first. I shall write again shortly in a separate topic. regards, Martin. |
