I need to plan a simple terminus, something like Ashburton or the early Buckingham Great Central Mark II. Has this been done before? I see from a search that tony polman posted a box file of Buckingham Mark I, where the run-round goes around the other side of the platform, but what about the Reverend Peter's later designs (before they got so much more complicated!)? | ||

Hello Ed, AS per topic 1072 Buckkinham Mark 2 was featured when new in the June 1963 Railway Modeller. "Little but the platform remains of PD's original layout after the biggest upheaval yet at B"(CJF's subtitle) Double track, loco shed in corner, gasworks at back, goods yard along front - you can start to see the outline of Buckingham/Marylebone emerging. PM me if you want sight of the plan/article. Regards, Rodney Hills |
