Hi John I have to wear something as the ballast is a bit hard on the feet otherwise, usually it is steel toecapped boots but as I was off duty and they weren't playing trains it was acceptable. Hi Phil, Bumping this topic after 13 years to say that I have taken the liberty of using a couple of your pics to illustrate a post on RMweb. I had to combine 2 of your photos to get a top view of the area between the vee rails immediately behind the splice: 2_041607_270000000.jpg Hope you don't mind. The RMweb post is: http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/160234-new-range-of-simple-to-assemble-00em-gauge-pointwork-kits/&do=findComment&comment=4218835 Those photos of yours from 2007 are still a great resource. For anyone looking for them, the GWR Special Chairs topics are listed at (scroll down): http://85a.co.uk/forum/view_forum.php?id=12&page=5 cheers, Martin. |
