Did the commentator say Messrs Taylor Brothers of San Diego????   I've listened several times and it still sounds like that. :)

But an excellent piece of film - no High vis or hard hats. :)   I do like the rail saw. :)

I have to agree,it did sound like San Diego ! A great piece of film, no hi-vis jackets, no hard hats, foreman almost being hit on the head, one ganger almost falling over.

Cowans Sheldon cranes didn't have any form of protection from the weather for the crews, so railway companies often improvised with corrugated iron. It was cheap and easily replaced or removed....great for a prototype though :-)

I do like the rail saw.
He's still there now, sawing away :D  That little rail drill at 13:10 is handy!
