Recently I've found PicturesToExe, a great program used by professional photographers to create stunning slide-show effects. See for yourself: I'm minded to use this in place of the Templot video tutorials because it is so much less time-consuming to work with static screenshots rather than full-length screen recordings. Everything is rather up in the air at present because Flash support is being removed from at least part of Windows 8 and is already gone from many mobile devices and Apple systems. Windows 8 also won't run the existing executable videos without the viewer jumping through hoops every time because they are unsigned executables. The intended solution is HTML5 video, but that's not available on older systems and browsers. The whole thing is turning into a minefield. No connection with PicturesToExe. regards, Martin. |
