Hi Kim, Sorry there are no shortcuts available for the mouse actions on the ruler tool. But pressing the BACKSPACE key lets you swap between the two mouse actions repeatedly, once you have started using them. However, there is a quick way to position the ruler: ALT + LEFT-CLICK puts the 1st end of the ruler at the mouse location.* ALT + RIGHT-CLICK puts the 2nd end of the ruler at the mouse location. That means to click the mouse buttons while holding down the ALT key. So you can simply move the mouse and then use the above shortcuts to set the ruler. You can change the mouse pointer to cross-hairs for precision work by pressing the CTRL+FULL-STOP (Period) keys. * If the jotter is visible, this action also zeroes the relative (delta) X-Y readouts on the jotter. regards, Martin. |
