Hullo I bought templot many moons ago, and recently updated to templot 2 (2.07) and it wiped off templot. However I don't always have an internet connection and every time I try and open templot2 up with no internet it won't let me open the program. Is there a way around this? Is it only me that suffers this? Cheers PJ |

Hi Sid, Please see paragraph 3 at: http://templot.com/companion/index.html?terms_of_use.htm To use Templot2 on your computer where there is no internet connection, please start Templot2 where you do have a connection, and then use the Hibernate function on your laptop. This doesn't use any battery power, the laptop is turned off with the entire current computer state stored on disk. Templot2 needs internet access only during start-up. Alternatively you can get an internet connection almost anywhere via a wireless dongle or 3G mobile phone. The Templot start-up uses less than 1KB, so will have minimal effect on your bandwidth quota. If you have a previous paid-for version of Templot it has not been wiped off (at least not by Templot2). It should still be where you left it, usually at C:\TEMPLOT\TemplotZero.exe Templot2 is an entirely separate program and does not modify the old version or the C:\TEMPLOT\ folder. You can use whichever program you prefer at any time. regards, Martin. |
