Hello Everyone I'm new this week to Templot and have just downloaded Templot 2. I'm not naturally good computers so I've been pleased with the results so far of trying out some simple stuff in Templot. I'm roughly half way through the track plan tutorial on the "old Templot Companion site". On screens 31 & 32 I've come to grinding halt however, as I can't find the Templot 2 version of Track\ Quick set menu to produce a turnout. I assume that I'm staring it in the face, but I wonder if someone could point me in the right direction? Many thanks Andrew |

Click the NEW button at the top of the trackpad, or the template > new template (quick set)... menu item. regards, Martin. |

Hello again Using the "NEW" button to produce a turnout worked well but when I did this the template "4 loop entry curve" disappeared. Can you tell me what I did wrong and how I stop this happening in the future. Many thanks Andrewundefined |

Hi Andrew, Before clicking NEW to create a new mint control template, if you want to retain the existing control template you must remember to store a copy of it on the background. Click the orange down-arrows button to the left of the NEW button. Or press the INSERT key on the keyboard, or use the main > store menu items. The buttons are alongside to remind you, and so that you can click them one after the other easily. If you do forget, just click the do > undo changes menu item, or press CTRL+U, or click the blue left-arrow button, to get the lost template back. If you hover the mouse over the buttons, they will explain themselves. regards, Martin. |

Thanks Martin The speed at which you've replied to both my questions has been very impressive. To be clear I'm not expecting this level of service every time but it is very helpful. Many thanks Andrew |
