hi Martin,
When you use the group rotate function, where is the centre point of the rotation and can it be moved to where you need it?

Hi Arthur,

The group rotates around the notch.

You can put the notch wherever you want it, for example by putting it under the peg on one of the templates, or on the radial centre of one of the templates, or move it around by mouse action, or set its position directly at geometry > notch > set notch position and angle menu item (the angle is ignored for group rotations).

See all the menu options at geometry > notch >.

And also the peg/align tools > move peg on background template, and notch under > menu options for a background template.
