Modern printers are getting lots of extra functions. Most of which we don't need when printing track construction templates. It is important that the data sent from Templot is printed exactly as supplied, and is not interfered with in any way by a printer driver trying to be too helpful. This is getting more and more difficult to ensure. For example, if your printer has a setting like this: 2_020814_450000000.png please make sure that it is unticked when printing templates from Templot. It is probably ticked by default. Make sure that everything is set to Normal Size, No Scaling, No Fitting, 100%, etc. Even if you have done a printer calibration, please check that the printer has not interfered with the data before using a template. You can do that by carefully measuring the grid lines. regards, Martin. |
