Martin/group, Firstly I am operating “91b” and find frequent repeated duplication of templots when trying to change or use templot colours. eg. When I go to change a Templot colour by using the lower of the three sub items “marker colour” the last Templot will reappear as an active one again. I then have to go to store and background and then remove by delete. Thus clearing the regenerated Templot. With the above this frequently appears to align templot on templot with identical characteristics as the under templot until maybe three or four identical Templots stowed on top of one another need to be individually moved by F7 to an open space use the store and background command then use the delete command until back to the original one. This error is immediately detectable by the fact the highlighted dot at show in marker colour is highlighted but the Templot is not in a highlighted colour but original working colour. Can anybody advise if I am liable to be doing anything wrong, for this to be happening. Any advice will be appreciated. Secondly while using my lap top on the plane the other day without a mouse attached I found whit remarkable frequency that when I hit F7 and or F4 my screen would start zooming in to enlarge the Templot. This was only stopped by pressing another command. This incidentally brings me back to our friend Vista where Templot seems to be working very good. Other than the remarks as above, these Templot colour change problems are concurrent when using my other computer. (XP pro) as well. Which leads me to believe it maybe some operator error. When you click on them to select one, you get the lower-most one. Changing the colour of that one doesn't show, because the others are on top of it. The answer is to delete the unwanted duplicates. Or ideally not to create them in the first place.  The most likely reason you are doing that is by doing a store & background before using one of the tools > make functions. Those functions store the control template for you, so you don't need to.After changing a marker colour via the Windows Colour dialog, returning focus to the pad causes the control template to be shown again if it was hidden. I will see if that can be changed, but it's easy to hide it again if it's in the way. Or move it, of course. In 091b you can zoom by rolling the mouse wheel, so I can only think that the vibration in the plane was causing the equivalent of the mouse wheel device (whatever that is when you haven't got a mouse on a laptop?) to move. This was only stopped by pressing another command.That's a bit odd! You threw me there by referring to F7! With F3 and F4 you have simply inadvertently pressed the PAGE UP key to free the zooming mode while adjusting the length of the control template. The panel at the top left of the pad changes from red to blue to indicate this mode is in force. Press PAGE DOWN to return to normal. The zoom-free mode is sometimes useful while preparing individual templates. But almost useless when doing track layout planning.
