Hi Martin, Have you recently hit the 'turbo' button on the Templot servers ? I have noticed a huge difference in the time it takes from hitting Send before the page refreshes and the post is added to the topic. It used to be 10-15 seconds but now it seems less than a half or even a third of that. Rob |

Rob Manchester wrote: Hi Martin,Hi Rob, Pay attention at the back! See: topic 3246 - message 24512 I'm glad you are finding it faster. The difference here isn't as marked as I had hoped. The time delay is in the database engine in creating a new post, which requires new entries in several database tables. You have probably noticed that if you edit an existing post, the change is almost instant. cheers, Martin. |

Thanks Martin, I was paying attention. I just didn't see the word 'faster'. It is much better now and yes a post edit was always much faster Rob |
