Use the search facilities on this forum to find "contnuous check rail" - there have been several previous topics on this.

Hi Zoë

The basic idea is to use a turnout with customized check rails, then blank off the turnout part.  If you open up Templot with the default B6 turnout, use F4 to extend the overall length to, say 1m long.  Then from the 'real' menu, Real=>customize v-crossing=>wing and check rails.  In the dialogue box I would suggest clicking the "more info F1" button.  In there should be all the info you need, so if you print that off and work with the template you should be able to follow what's happening.

I've attached a copy of my quick reference guide to show the various sizes and which bits are which because I can never remember which size goes with which rail!  I hope this will be useful, but it will only make sense once you've read the info I mentioned above!

Thanks, Paul...,
I figured there was some method of doing this...,
just not 'up front' in the menus.

I'll have a bash at your suggestion.
