After being able to do it, all of a sudden I seem to have lost the ability to download OS maps into my shapes file. I am looking to download Holborn Viaduct station Platforms prior to electrification After setting the gauge I open shapes program box, I click on maps. I then click on NLS 60 inch London, Click National Library of Scotland, whilst I can find the location I cannot access a map which will download into Templot Please what an I not doing, totally baffled and frustrated |

Hayfield wrote: Please what am I not doing, totally baffled and frustratedHi John, I'm sorry you are frustrated. Me too. I have tried and tried to explain the process, I have included lengthy notes in the program, I have revised the user interface several times. The truth is that it is really quite easy to get an historic map from the NLS into Templot, accurately scaled to match your model scale. But for some reason I am unable to explain it in a way that others can follow. I will have another go later today. cheers, Martin. |

I have now resolved the issue, the detail I wanted was on a 25" plan, and following various threads I could not download what I wanted. Somehow managed to get it and all is fine, sorry to disturb you and I can see the automated part does not include these maps other than print screen | ||
