Phil has told me he is now stocking Finetrax products, he is in the process of taking photos and putting the stock on to his website, items are now available and he will take orders by phone if anybody requires anything | ||

Am I the only one who has no idea what Fintrax products are? (apart from Irish Financial Services of course...) |

Howard, I have seen a couple of layouts built with this track system and it is quite 'fine' in the way it looks. Not sure about the double slip though....  Rob |

Sorry I should have checked, Phil is Dyslexic and my spelling is not very good. I have checked and unless I misheard him I used his spelling. |

The FiNetrax slip may not look as good as 2FS, but it looks a lot better than the Peco effort. Keith |

The switch blade chair plates look interesting, might be worth buying a pack and a jig. thoughts are they might have some mileage with 4mm scale switches ? | ||

Hi Fellas I was one of the beta testers when Wayne (FiNetrax)recently introduced the single and double slip kits. The system is very similar to the 2FS easitrak system (obviously different gauge)and uses some of the same components i.e code 40 B/H rail and moulded chairs(the only difference is the check rail chairs) The double slip was quite challenging to build because accurate measurements and filing of the various rails was essential due to the clearances needed.Jigs are available separately to complete these tasks. Wayne has a topic listed on the N Gauge forum and you can see the results of my build posted there. Have a go with a turnout (available in a number of sizes) kit before committing to a more complicated kit. Regards Chris |

The individual chairs have a pin on the base for locating in the point bases. If you want to use points other than those provided for then it's possible to use the 2mm Society Easitrak chairs instead (if you're a member). | ||
