The ancient Templot Chat Room is still online after many years, and I thought it might be a better way of providing a comments function on the live screen sessions than relying on forums and email. I've arranged it to show below the trackpad on the live stream, so that anyone watching, including me, can see any comments without needing to break away from the action. There's a link below the stream to open the chat room on your screen, and details of how to find the room password and enter the room. In theory this is open to anyone to post comments, but only Templot users can find the password, so we should be safe from dimwits posting rubbish. The page is live at present, to test it you might like to try entering the chat room and saying something to the assembled throng -- we are allowed more than 6. Here's the link: http://templot.com/companion/live_screen.php cheers, Martin. |

Hello Martin, I vaguely remembered that the Templot "chat" room exists when I read your post (above). I used the link you provided to visit the chat room and after some searches of the forum found the password and entered the room. I then realised that as I live on the far side of the planet when I am visiting the Templot club site many of the members are in bed asleep and so it seems with the chat room. Then I started to look for a link to the chat room on the Templot forum pages and I don't seem to find one. I probably missed it but is there a link to the chat room other than the one you posted in your message above? Best regards, Pierre |

Pierre wrote: I vaguely remembered that the Templot "chat" room exists when I read your post (above).Hi Pierre, Thanks. I'm sure there is an old link to the chat room somewhere here, but I have now added one on the front page: 2_040139_590000000.png Instructions for finding the room password can be seen by hovering the mouse over the above link. They are also on the live screen page: http://templot.com/companion/live_screen.php and here: • In the Templot program, click the utils > metric/scale calculator menu item. The room password is the word on a green background. I'm often online during the night, and there are several Templot users around the world, so you might not be alone in the chat room. However, the chat room is very little used and had been largely forgotten. If you find it empty, you could post a message here inviting others to join you. cheers, Martin. |
