I've done something I dunno what but my main toolbar along the top has changed & so has the drop options. I've been doing that tutorial for the S4 layout with run around etc & when I click pad it has different options too. I don't have track it's template. How do I change my toolbar back so it is like it was before so I can continue my tutorial??

Simon.

Hi Simon,

You have upgraded to version 0.82.d of Templot. As explained in my order confirmation letter, that version has a great many additional features, but it doesn't match the original tutorials. I therefore recommend that you remain with the original version 0.74.b until you have completed them. You can still do the tutorials in 0.82.d of course, but you will have to hunt around in the menus to find things. :)

If you want to finish the tutorials, I suggest that you revert to version 0.74.b again while you finish them. That's easy to do. Just go to

 http://www.templot.com/tug/download_new.htm

and download and install the program again. Everything will then be back as it was.

When you have finished doing as much as you want to with 0.74.b , you can then upgrade to 0.82.d again by going to

 http://www.templot.com/martweb/pug_info_1.htm

 http://www.templot.com/martweb/pug_info_2.htm

and reading through the two long pages of information about the additional features.

Sorry about the confusion. To be honest the static tutorials are out of date, and don't properly introduce you to all the features in the latest versions. They are overdue for an update. You may prefer to watch the video tutorials instead, at:

 http://www.templot.com/martweb/video_list.htm

which are based on the later versions.

regards,

Martin.
