Hi I thought you might like to see this. I've had Templot for a few years but only in the last couple of weeks have I managed to get it all to "click" in my head! This is part of the Swiss layout I'm working on and I have to say I'm quite chuffed that I managed to produce something like this without a great deal of difficulty. There are no timbers because this will be built with grooved rail and buried in a road surface. |

That is highly impressive. Would consider writing it up so that we can all benefit from your efforts and take some pressure of Martin perhaps? Regards Raymond |

Hi How are you planning to construct it? I would think it could lead to some singed fingers if you are soldering it. Cheers Phil |

Templot User wrote: ----- from Alan Hall ----- Hi Alan, Yes I'll see you at Model Rail. My plans for OHLE are well advanced with drawing in the process of being prepared for etched brass portals and various standard Swiss parts. I've built dead scale OHLE before so that bit will be easy. You'll see some of my work at Model Rail on the Clydesdale Iron Foundry layout that I'll be on. Alan |

Raymond wrote: That is highly impressive. Would consider writing it up so that we can all benefit from your efforts and take some pressure of Martin perhaps? Hi Raymond Thank you for that! I could write up how I did it but I'll try doing one of those Jing videos that Martin uses. Hopefully it will show everything I did to produce this irregular crossing which is one of three so far on my plan. Regards Alan |

Raymond wrote: I look forward to it as I have irregular crossings to do as well. Hi Raymond I'm sorry - I can't get Jing to save in a format that would be of use to you or anyone else. It's a horrible little programme and it's too much like hard work to figure it out. I'll try to write up what i did with these crossings so you'l get the jist if it. Regards Alan |
