I have previously mentioned the difficulty of finding pictures of original BR steam running on FB track with Pandrol clips. For example in this message about mixing BH and FB track http://groups.yahoo.com/group/templot/message/7184 I said "steam over Pandrols = no, unless you have some photographic evidence for your prototype". So thanks to Adam on RMweb for finding these pictures from Eastleigh in 1967. Click "Original" size to see that they really are Pandrol clips: http://www.flickr.com/photos/barkingbill/2364558166/sizes/m/in/set-72157603696486994/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/barkingbill/2282464574/sizes/m/in/set-72157603696486994/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/barkingbill/2364558278/sizes/m/in/set-72157603696486994/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/barkingbill/2363726105/sizes/m/in/set-72157603696486994/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/barkingbill/2282465226/sizes/m/in/set-72157603696486994/ Many thanks Adam. regards, Martin. |
