HI Martin, I like your software and was hoping to use it for 7.1/4" gauge track. How can I enter it as 7.1/4" and not as a scale as my loco is narrow gauge. I have tried various scales and it never comes out right. I have access to a large roll printer, which would make the setting out of points on this scale easy. Many thanks, Barney Swain. |

You didn't say but I would imagine for narrow-gauge on 7.1/4" you are probably modelling at around 1:4 scale, i.e. 3"/ft ? There is a video showing how to set up templates for narrow-gauge -- see: topic 376 Enter say 1:4 for the scale and i7.25 (or 184.15mm) for the track gauge. If you can say a bit more about the exact scale, flangeway gaps, sleeper sizes, etc., which you are using, I can reply in greater detail. regards, Martin. |
